Join the Corona community to finish out the year with one last release – join #shipjam, the year-end game jam!
#shipjam is about completing an unfinished project and shipping it before the end of the year. Pick up a project you loved but had to abandon for one reason or another – dust it off, tie up the loose ends and get it out the door! The contest is from now until Dec 31st, and is open to Corona developers of all levels. Apps will be judged on completeness, quality, charm, and how much you got accomplished within the jam.
We’ve got three great judges: Corona’s own Rob Miracle, Corona Geek Charles McKeever and Graham Ranson from Glitch Games and host of GIGJam 48. We have some amazing prizes too: one-year, six-month and three-month Corona Pro subscriptions, two copies of Dr. Brian Burton’s “Mobile App Development with Corona”, a press release and a couple of gift cards are up for grabs.
Check out to shipjam.com to sign up and for more details – hope to see you there!
#shipjam was created in the IRC #corona channel by indie developers Eric Kinkead (erickinkead.com) and Laura Tallardy (lauratallardy.com). Download Eric’s acclaimed app Questlord and Laura’s newest release Cool Careers Dress Up for Girls.
